 //ABOUT US

mla | Format.Dance is a project-based modern dance company working in New Jersey. Led by artistic director Marissa Aucoin, the company is committed to creating highly collaborative, experimental performance projects that invite audiences to engage with dance in a variety of formats.

In addition to their creative work, mla | Format.Dance engages in community based education and outreach through customized workshops, residencies, and teaching artist work. We value dance and its ability to empower individuals, foster community, and promote radical empathy.

We firmly believe that every body can dance.
